Conduit Bending – 21 hours (21CEUs)– Complete
This class is designed to provide classroom instruction in the concepts of conduit bending and lab exercises in the application of common bending scenarios. The class will provide a comprehensive overview of conduit bending procedures and methods. The class will include coverage of all aspects of hand bending tools, conduit layout, and procedures in accordance with the National Electrical Code. After completing Conduit Bending, students should be able to calculate and layout Back-to-Back 90° Bends, Offsets, and Kick Bends.

Introduction to Motor Controls – 12 hours (12 CEUs)– Complete
From switches to complex PLCs, control systems are everywhere. In this introductory course on motor controls, students will develop a very basic understanding of the evolution and variety of uses in motor control. Students will learn the differences between IEC and NEMA, schematic and wiring diagrams, and the fundamentals of the holding circuit. Reading and drawing ladder diagrams will also be introduced.

Foreman Training Part 2 – 15 hours– Complete
Digging deeper into taking the next step in a leadership role on the jobsite and the day-to-day tasks, as well as long term challenges that go along with it. Please come to class ready to learn as well as participate in classroom discussions.

CW/CE INTRODUCTION TO THE ELECTRICAL TRADE 12 Hours / 12 CEUs– Complete
If you’re new to the electrical industry, unfamiliar with some of the specialty tools and materials and want or need to get more familiar with our ways, this class will help. From residential to commercial to industrial jobsites there are so many different aspects to the electrical field that you will spend your career learning new things. Get started right! This course is approved for 12 hours of Wisconsin State Electrical Credentialing FOR Registered Electrician license only. ALL 12 HOURS MUST BE ATTENDED FOR CREDIT. Class Date/Time: 5-8pm 4 nights. Electrical Safety – 6 hours (6 CEUs)– Complete
Electrical Safety is a six-hour course designed to highlight and enforce safety hazards in our field as well as proper procedures to avoid them in our industry. The course will cover many aspects of safety in our field as well as a basic overview of arc flash and how to interpret safety labels to understand the proper procedures to take. This course is presented by Caleb Alexander, a seasoned safety professional and owner of Safety Management & Training.

Transition to Trainer – 8 hours (0 CEUs)– Complete
This class is for final year apprentices who will as journey workers soon be responsible for passing on their skills to new apprentices. Developed by the Bureau of Apprenticeship Standards, this 8-hour course teaches soon-to-be journey workers how to serve as a mentor and job coach, how to provide hands-on skill training, how to give positive and effective performance feedback, and explores the characteristics of a positive and diverse work environment.
Class Date/Time: Wednesdays April 23rd, 30th, and May 7th. 5:00 p.m.- 8:00 p.m. last class is 5-7pm.
